Almudena Cathedral, Madrid

by Brett During my little trip stoSpain I took a walk around Madrid. No road map, did not know where I was, did not know what the buildings were. In the forground is the Royal Palace, behind which you see the dome and one of the facade towers of the cathedral. They appear to be one buiding but are not.

Atocha (monument to the innocent victims of terrorism)

by Brett This is a subterranean room off an underground passage in the Atocha Rail/Bus/Metro station in Madrid. The people are looking up a light pipe to the surface. A large diffuser supplies natural light and there is a fabric tube printed with thoughts and sentiments refering to the tragedy.
