A petty bureaucrat in Wellington NZ.
I have had and used Canon SLR's since early 70's. Bulk loaded and processed my own B&W negatives and prints.
I purchased a 400D in April 2007 for a trip to Spain in May that same year. Brought home gigabytes of images which I thought at the time were uninspired and uninteresting. Now I am finding that many of those images were far more interesting than I had supposed. Appears at least for me I do know how to make interesting pictures and even though others may not share my interest I am not concerned.
A thief is now in possession of my trusted old 400D. And when I take the time to look again at the photos I took with it I am impressed by the performance of that small and humble tool.
Now on to my second Digital SLR, this time the not so humble 7D. Technically a leap forward, I am wondering if my enjoyment of it photographically will be as much of a leap.
